WITH thousands of acres of available land in the UK not being developed due to insufficient drainage and sub-standard sewage solutions, TITAN POLLUTION CONTROL, the UK's leading manufacturer of domestic and commercial sewage treatment plants, has today unveiled a brand new range of sewage pumping stations that will enable developers to exploit projects which, traditionally, would prove difficult.
The launch increases Titan's core portfolio from a simple, basic range to an all-inclusive offering, covering a wide range of solutions from single dwelling applications to those suitable for full scale commercial - operations such as hotels, offices and pubs.
Announcing the launch of the pumping stations, which are available immediately, national sales manager, Andy Thompson explained that the new range reflected the direct feedback from its customer base for an increase in product specification:
"Developers throughout the UK will be pleased with today's announcement. Both distributors and specifiers alike have expressed a strong desire and need for pumping stations with higher specifications and increased capabilities. On our existing range, sales this year have increased substantially from last and we expect to drive sales forward even further, now we are able to offer a more versatile range with improved features and performance."
Although bespoke models can be designed and built to almost any specification, Titan's pumping stations start at 1020mm with a 1.5m³ maximum inflow, rising to 1530m with a 15m³ maximum inflow, this compared to the previous maximum of 1030m with 5m³ inflow.
With suitable land available for development at a premium the increased capability will enable developers to consider a wider variety of potential projects where drainage and sewage removal is a headache.
Made from maintenance-free polypropylene, the pumping stations were developed for use with the Biotec sewage treatment plant as effluent pumping stations or stand alone raw sewage pumping stations and each unit is delivered direct to site, ready for simple installation.
A selection of optional extras are also available including high-level alarm, Modem diagnostics, lockable covers and emergency overflow tanks.
