Titan Pollution Control

Titan Pollution Control is part of the Kingspan Group Environmental division, operating principally in the UK in the domestic and commercial sewage treatment and light effluent business. The company employs over 80 people and is located in Andover, Hampshire.

Through consistent product quality and value for money Titan Pollution Control has become firmly established as the quality provider of pollution control products. The company was, until 1999, known as Entec (Pollution Control) Ltd.

Company History

The company was started in 1975 by Mr Pat Coates, constructing Septic Tanks in his domestic garage. This led to a partnership with local businessman Colin Eames and production duly switched to a workshop at Lopcombe Corner, near Middle Wallop. Growth was rapid and by the early 1980s, the firm was operating out of a wartime Nissen hut on Thruxton Airfield.

A relocation to Portway Industrial Estate was a logical progression, backed by additional investment to expand and develop the product range. The company again quickly outgrew it's premises and by 1987 the operation moved a short distance to new purpose-built facilities where the company is now based.

Present Day

Today, Titan Pollution Control continues to go from strength to strength. The BIOtec treatment plant has become established as the biggest selling treatment system in the UK and Ireland and Titan Pollution Control's engineers continue to lead the way in product development.

In 1993 Entec (Pollution Control) Ltd became the first UK manufacturer to have its Oil / Water Separator range tested and approved to exacting European DIN 1999 standards. More recently, Titan Pollution Control has been a significant part in the development of European standards for Separators (EN-858) and Packaged Treatment Plants (EN-12566). Additionally we have major industry roles in BSI & British Water.

Our Customers

The Company's customer database incorporates most of the major builders merchants and many of the large UK contractors. Titan Pollution Control also provides an after sales service through its internal service department and national network of approved external service engineers and installers.

Sales are managed from an in-house facility with a regional network of full-time company employed specialist technical Area Sales Managers.

Titan Pollution Control has long recognised the demand by customers for products endorsed with Agrément certification and BS EN ISO 9002 quality assurance. As a leading European manufacturer Titan Pollution Control has been instrumental in forging new environmental standards both for the UK and Europe. In this regard Titan is proud to have received the new BS14001 environmental standard.
